About Diana McClaran

 Diana McClaran is a Montana wildlife and equine bronze sculptor whose work combines realism with a playful whimsy. She is drawn to the unique behaviors, movement, and beautiful shapes of animals, often capturing an unexpected moment that gives each sculpture its individuality.

An important part of Diana’s work is her signature lifelike patinas. She draws from the most dramatic colors and natural variations found in each animal, using them to bring depth, richness, and a heightened sense of life to the bronze while remaining true to the subject.

Her work has been selected for prominent national exhibitions, including the National Sculpture Society Annual Award Exhibition, the Society of Animal Artists Exhibitions, and Small Works, Great Wonders at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Diana is also a two-time recipient of the Marilyn Newmark Memorial Award.
